Welcome to Surfeo (surfeo.ai). By using our service, you agree to these terms. Take a moment to read them — they are written to be understood, not to confuse.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Surfeo, you agree to these terms of service in full. If you disagree with any part, you should not use the service.

Continued use of the platform after any changes to these terms implies your acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Your account

• You must provide truthful and up-to-date information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age in your jurisdiction to use the service.
• If we detect false information or suspicious activity, we may suspend or terminate your account.

3. What the service is and does

Surfeo is a SaaS platform that helps businesses measure and improve their visibility in AI responses from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude.

The service includes:

• AI visibility audits: we analyze how major LLMs respond to queries relevant to your business.
• Visibility score (GeoScore): a 0-to-100 indicator summarizing your presence in AI responses.
• Personalized recommendations to improve your positioning in AI responses.
• Optimized content generation so LLMs mention and recommend your business.
• Alerts and tracking for changes in your visibility.

Surfeo does not guarantee that your business will appear in any LLM's responses. Results depend on many external factors beyond our control, such as changes to AI models, their data sources, and their algorithms.

4. Plans and billing

We offer three plans:

• Free (EUR 0/month): basic access with limited features.
• Starter (EUR 39/month): access to most features with more audits and AI providers.
• Growth (EUR 99/month): full access to all features, with all available audits and AI providers.

We also offer extra audit packs as a one-time purchase.

• Payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
• Prices may change. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance before applying any price change to your active subscription.
• You can change plans (upgrade or downgrade) at any time. The change takes effect at the next billing cycle.

5. Cancellation and refunds

• You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing section in your account.
• After cancelling, you will retain access to the paid plan until the end of the current billing period.
• Once the period ends, your account will automatically switch to the Free plan.
• We do not offer refunds for partial periods. If you cancel mid-month, you can continue using the service until the end of the paid month.
• One-time purchases (such as extra audit packs) are non-refundable once used.

6. Intellectual property

Surfeo, including its code, design, brand, logos, and interface, is the property of Surfeo. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You retain all rights to the data you input into the platform (your website, business name, industry, etc.).

7. User content and generated content

• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you input into the platform (URL, business data, text).
• Content generated by Surfeo (recommendations, optimized text, reports) is licensed to you for free use in your business. You may publish, edit, and adapt it.
• Surfeo is not responsible for how you use the generated content. Before publishing, review it to ensure it is accurate and appropriate for your business.
• We reserve the right to use aggregated and anonymized data (never your individually identifiable data) to improve the service and produce industry studies.

8. Prohibited use

The following uses are not permitted:

• Using the service for illegal or fraudulent activities.
• Attempting to access other users' accounts.
• Scraping, reverse engineering, or attempting to extract the platform's source code.
• Submitting malicious, offensive, or rights-infringing content.
• Using bots or automated scripts to interact with the service (outside our documented APIs).
• Reselling or redistributing the service without authorization.
• Deliberately overloading the service's infrastructure.

9. AI disclaimer

Surfeo uses third-party artificial intelligence models (OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, Anthropic) to analyze your business visibility. It is important you understand the following:

• Audit results are informational. They do not constitute professional marketing, legal, or other advice.
• LLM responses can vary between queries, even for the same question. This is inherent to how these models work.
• We do not control and cannot predict how AI models will respond in the future. LLMs are constantly updated.
• Surfeo is not affiliated with OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, or Anthropic. We use their APIs as external providers.
• The GeoScore is an indicative metric based on our analysis. It is not an official metric from any AI provider.

10. Privacy and personal data

Your privacy matters. We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and European regulations (GDPR).

11. Limitation of liability

Surfeo is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law:

• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the incident.
• These limitations do not affect any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these terms of service at any time. When we do:

• We will publish the updated version on this page with the new update date.
• If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email or through an in-app notice.
• Continued use of the service after changes implies your acceptance of the new terms.

13. Termination

• You can delete your account at any time from your settings.
• Surfeo may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, without prior notice.
• In case of termination, you would lose access to your data stored on the platform. We recommend exporting any important information before deleting your account.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law.

For any dispute arising from these terms or the use of the service, both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Granada (Spain), unless consumer protection legislation in your country grants you a different jurisdiction.
